My name is Debra Clemons, and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I live in McDonald, PA. I work in the Office of International Student Sevices at Point Park University; where I also attend classes. I am pursuing a double major: biological sciences and mathematics. I hope and pray that I will graduate by the end of the Spring 2008 semester.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music--whether it is gospel, jazz, light rock, classical, blues--you name it. Every gene and every era--Bread, Paul Davis, George Howard, Donnie McClurkin, The Carpenters, The Temptations,Percy Sledge, The Drifters, etc....
Another thing I enjoy is collecting quotes. Some of my favorites are, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" and "the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" (Eleanor Roosevelt). Or Maya Angelou's, "If someone shows you who they are believe them". But some of the best quotes come from the Bible, "...to whom much is given, much is required" or I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help". And the list goes on and on and on...
Some of my favorite movies to watch are: Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne the Story Continues, A Room with a View, The Winslow Boy, An Enchanted April, Shrek, Grace and Glory, etc., etc...
In my spare time I enjoy the following activities: spending weekends with my mom, playing tennis, solving logic and sudoku problems, watching true crime and medical shows, and hiking and camping in the great outdoors.
Pursuing a double major has been a difficult task. There were times I was taking courses for both majors at the same time. That was a challenge in itself. My brain was being pulled in both directions.
