The International Journal of Interactive Communication Systems and Technologies (IJICST) is a semiannual peer-reviewed academic journal focused on a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to existing and emerging Internet-based social interaction technologies.
IJICST explores multidimensional relationships between technology and contemporary society with the purpose of broadening the interdisciplinary body of knowledge pertaining to various aspects of existing and evolving interactive communication systems, platforms, components, devices, interfaces, tools, and techniques. The journal offers a forum for the exchange of innovative ideas and practices and brings together international experts from the areas of communication, social media, social informatics, information systems, social computing, knowledge management, advertising, marketing, public relations, education, psychology, sociology, and law.
The journal is an official publication of the Information Resources Management Association.
