Spring-2017 Tatyana Dumova, Ph.D., has been accepted to join the Fulbright Specialist roster for a three-year tenure. Dumova also served as an international grant review expert for the Netherlands Organization for Health Research and Development.

Fall-2012 Tatyana Dumova published a conference report reviewing the state of virtual conference technology. Dumova joined two graduate students for presentation of their research papers at the ECA Convention last April. Heather Hanson and Ivan Moore became interested in research after taking Dumova's course in applied mass communication research methods.

Fall-2012 Tatyana Dumova, Ph.D., and graduate students Heather Hanson and Ivan Moore presented research papers at the annual Eastern Communication Association Convention, the oldest such professional association in the United States. The event marked the first time Point Park students presented at a communication convention at this level.

11-3-2011 Tatyana Dumova published a chapter on the student perceptions of the usability of online assessment tools in a newly released volume, Computer-Mediated Communication: Issues and Approaches in Education. Dumova's research examines online tests and quizzes to determine what features of Blackboard-based testing environment are most beneficial from a student perspective.
